CASE SUMMARY:
In this written Opinion, Judge Pannucci held that the plaintiff was entitled to wage loss benefits under §3107a as a "temporarily unemployed person" where plaintiff had been laid off from a completed construction project and, for the four month period before his auto accident, collected unemployment benefits and was seeking further employment.

In addition, he was entitled, under §3107(b), to the "actual value" of his wife's nursing care services that the court found were provided over a one year period. The value of these services was approximately $5,400.
