CASE SUMMARY:
In this unanimous per curiam Opinion, the Court of Appeals ruled that a single insurance policy insuring three separate automobiles with $100,000 of bodily injury liability coverage could not reasonably be read so as to permit "stacking" of the liability coverages so that the named insureds would have $300,000 of liability coverage regarding the negligent operation of one of the insured vehicles. The Court refused to find that the policy was ambiguous with respect to its prohibition of stacking under Powers v DAIIE (Item No. 979).
