CASE SUMMARY:
In this unanimous per curiam Opinion, the Court of Appeals held that in light of the Supreme Court's decision in DiFranco v Pickard (Item No. 978), threshold claims for permanent serious disfigurement should not be summarily dismissed where reasonable minds could differ as to whether the threshold had been crossed. The Court stated, "accordingly, we direct the trial court to also reconsider the permanent serious disfigurement issue in light of DiFranco"
