CASE SUMMARY:
In this Order, Judge Glazer of the Ingham County Circuit Court, ruled that the term "owner" as used in §3101 of the no-fault statute, requires that an owner must have exclusive use of the motor vehicle in question for a period greater than 30 days. Where a person does not have exclusive use of a vehicle for more than 30 days, the person cannot be considered to be an owner under the no-fault statute.
